If pokey had a yard

Once upon a time, there was a mischievous Boston Terrier named Pokey. Pokey was a playful and energetic dog who loved to cause trouble wherever she went.

One day, Pokey's Momma had to leave for an unexpected appointment and had to leave Pokey alone. She made sure to give sit and hand-feed Pokey her breakfast before leaving and left the door to the yard ajar before leaving so Pokey could enjoy being outdoors when she wanted. But as soon as Momma's car disappeared from view, Pokey started to scheme.

She looked around the yard, her eyes darting from one object to another until they settled on Momma's favorite flower bed. Pokey couldn't resist the temptation to dig up the flowers and roll around in the dirt. So, she started digging, throwing dirt everywhere with her paws.

After a few minutes of digging, Pokey was covered in dirt, but she wasn't done yet. She spotted a butterfly fluttering by and took off after it, leaping into the air. Pokey chased the butterfly around the yard, knocking over pots and chairs in the process.

But Pokey's mischievous antics didn't end there. She spotted a pigeon running along the fence and immediately took off after it. She chased the squirrel back and forth along the fence, jumping up and down with excitement.

Finally, after hours of playing and causing mischief, Pokey was exhausted. She collapsed in a heap on the grass, panting heavily. When Momma came home from work that evening, she found Pokey fast asleep in the yard, surrounded by dirt, fallen flower pots, and overturned chairs.

Despite her mischievous behavior, Momma couldn't help but love Pokey and her insatiable zest for life! She gave her a big hug and a kiss on the head, and even though Pokey hates cuddles, she wagged her stubby barely-there little tail happily, content with a day very well spent.

And that's why Momma lives in a condo and doesn't have a yard.
